PSDM-I DAY ANNOUNCEMENT

The Board of Directors of the Panhellenic Association of Graduated Mechanical Engineers and Electrical Engineers has decided to hold a Conference within the framework of the International Exhibition “Climatherm –Energy 2016” which will take place on 25-28 February 2016 at the Athens Metropolitan Expo exhibition center, with the theme: «TOGETHER FOR AN ENERGY-SUSTAINABLE FUTURE» and sponsored by the organizing company of the International Exhibition Project Ltd.

The conference will cover the following sectors:

Renewable Energy Sources, Solar Energy, Geothermal Energy, Natural Gas-Liquid Gas, Air Conditioning, Heating, (Energy Fireplaces, Biomass, Pellet Burners), Ventilation, Industrial Cooling, Photovoltaics, Energy Upgrading of Buildings, Economical Lighting – LED, Water Supply, Desalination

Η Workshop will be held on Friday, 26-2-2016,  will last from 4pm to 8pm, with the theme:

ALTERNATIVE ENERGY-SAVING AND ECONOMIC HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING TECHNOLOGIES – Typical applications, regulations and standards.

Detailed presentations will be made on the following topics:

 

  1. European energy policy for the “decarbonization” of energy by 2020, 2030 and 2050: Myth or reality?;
  2. Revision of KENAK and new regulations and standards for the energy efficiency of buildings.
  3. Energy inspection of boiler rooms based on the ELOT EN 15378 standard.
  4. Energy inspection of air conditioning installations based on the ELOT EN 15249 standard.
  5. Energy efficiency and applications of low temperature boilers and condensing boilers.
  6. Heat pumps in electric heating and air conditioning: energy economy and limitations.
  7. Heating with biomass, pellet and wood chip burners.
  8. Solar thermal systems, amphithermal type (Combi).
  9. LED lighting installations: regulations, applications and design standards
  10. Cogeneration of heat and electricity with wood and pellets.
  11. Photovoltaic installations with increased self-consumption.
  12. Autonomous hybrid power generation systems with wind/photovoltaic and electricity storage batteries.
